People是游客是观众,是参观了古宅就以为消除了特权和阶级屏障的人们。家族创伤不过是信托营销的佐料,抬价不过是拍卖商的诱饵,甚至连名人的尿壶也可以造假。People were work. 讽刺的是,说people也是love的***导演,不过是为了工作才接近Dorothy。从落魄**到景区***,看到最后竟有一丝末代皇帝的凄凉。Metaphor is fraud. Frances De La Tour简直太适合这个角色,Alan的剧本witty依旧。对逝去的Taken for Granted的英国的一次失败的挽留,这个社会以其强势的同化性侵占所有的守旧者(他们甚至不是nostalgia,只是不想要变化罢了
Alan Bennett 的又一佳作,Nicholas Hytner执导的话剧。逝去的便已然逝去,不必再追寻。take things for granted 的自持态度已随上个**远去;对信托和教会的调侃也是可爱;终调归于释然。Frances De La Tour身上厚重又诙谐自在的特质完美fit此剧。
我知道这样说很不礼貌,但是前面那个说自己是文保工作者的,你根本就没看懂这部剧,无论从故事最后的结局还是主人公态度来看,作者的态度都不是想去批判国家信托收购老宅的行为,可怜的老太太从心底就不反对卖老宅,她只是想有一个舒*的晚年而在讨价还价而已,so不要以一种受害者的姿态来妄加评判,这样很不cool
在剧作家Alan Bennett看来,**的豪宅变成国家公园后,熙熙攘攘的游客对于那些古建筑就是一群笑话。这种价值观当然我有些理解,但是无法认同。演员们演得真好,喋喋不休的台词充满着小趣味。2017年7月观影NT Live版本。
